Robert T. Edwards, CPA

Robert T. Edwards is the managing partner of Edwards & Associates a full-service public accounting firm working extensively with dentists/healthcare professionals in the areas of accounting, tax reduction and wealth building issues. Robert has been a Certified Public Accountant for almost 30 years.

Robert is committed to establishing an ongoing partnership with his clients in order to provide financial success now and to create a plan for financial independence during their retirement years.

Robert's experience with federal tax issues has made him an effective negotiator with the Internal Revenue Service in reaching settlements for clients with unresolved tax issues prior to becoming clients.

Previously employed by KPMG Peat Marwick in Dallas for six years and seven years as Chief Financial Officer for companies in the oil and gas and real estate industries, Robert founded Edwards & Associates in 1987. Born and raised as a native Texan, Robert has lived in Dallas 29 years.

He holds an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University where he received honors for service as president of Beta Alpha Psi, the honorary accounting fraternity.

Robert is married to Sharon F. Tiger-Edwards, a nationally known practice management consultant specializing in the area of communications and team building with healthcare professionals. They have one daughter, Raizelle, who is 10 years old.

Lynn Ledbetter, CPA

Lynn W. Ledbetter is a partner in charge of the tax and accounting practice at Edwards & Associates, a full-service public accounting firm working extensively with dentists and other health care professionals. Lynn holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Tarleton State University and a Master of Accountancy from Southwest Texas State University. She has worked in the area of accounting for nine years.

Lynn was employed as a high school math teacher for four years before pursuing her accounting certification. She joined Edwards & Associates in June 1998, and is committed to helping the Firm live up to its professional reputation.

Lynn works closely with Robert Edwards, managing partner and owner of Edwards & Associates. His ability to generate creative and cutting-edge methods of helping clients meet their financial & tax objectives is complimented by Lynn's ability to break down those objectives and guide the clients through the steps necessary to accomplish their goals.

Lynn was born in Texas and raised in the north Dallas area. She recently celebrated her sixteenth wedding anniversary and resides in Sachse with her husband and daughter.
