Robert T. Edwards, CPA Founder and Director
Robert is committed to maintaining an ongoing partnership with clients. He helps them work toward financial success now, and also develops retirement plans to generate financial independence in the future.
Robert's experience with federal tax issues makes him an effective negotiator with the Internal Revenue Service, reaching settlements for clients with unresolved tax issues prior to becoming clients. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer for companies in the oil and gas industries.
A native Texan, Robert graduated from Texas Tech University where he received honors for service as president of Beta Alpha Psi, the honorary accounting fraternity. He lives in Dallas with his wife Dr. Sharon F. Tiger, a nationally known dental practice management consultant, and their beautiful, talented daughter
Lynn Ledbetter, CPA Executive Director
Lynn is a brilliant problem-solver. She works closely with clients, helping them implement strategies and accomplish their financial goals. Her expertise, attention to detail and practical guidance make Lynn a terrific asset to clients, as well as an integral part of our own success.
Since joining our team in 1998, Lynn has been committed to helping clients succeed. People especially appreciate Lynn's hands-on assistance. Years of experience in the education arena have honed her communication skills, allowing Lynn to explain detailed information with ease.
Lynn was born in Texas and raised in the north Dallas area. She earned
a mathematics degree from Tarleton
State University and a Master of Accountancy from Southwest
Texas State University. Lynn lives in Sachse with her husband of 18
years and their teenage daughter.
Jennifer JohnsonJennifer is an integral part of the Edwards & Associate team, and is responsible for our Retirement and Investing division. Before joining us in 2002, Jennifer spent seven years managing billing and insurance duties for a general dentist. This experience continues to bring a unique and valuable perspective to the service Jennifer provides today.
Throughout her academic career, Jennifer has been recognized for a variety of achievements. Her awards include Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities, Golden Key International Honor Society, National Dean's List and Outstanding Student of the Year. In 2001, Jennifer graduated with honors from Texas Woman's University with a BA in finance and accounting
Jennifer was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. When she is not working, Jennifer enjoys cooking, reading, exercising, watching sports, being outdoors and spending quality time with her loved ones. Her family includes her husband and their new baby, Gage, as well as their yellow lab, Diesel.
Robyn WagnonRobyn's special interest in tax law has proven to be a valuable resource for our firm and our clients. She excels in IRS problem resolution, tax planning and research.
Robyn joined our team in 2001, and the years of experience have added to her impressive training. She holds a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting Control Systems and a Master's of Science in Taxation Accounting from the University of North Texas. Robyn plans to pursue CPA certification in the near future.
Born in Lubbock, Texas, Robyn moved to the Dallas area as a child. She and her husband now live in Richardson. Robyn enjoys reading, visiting family in Austin, watching movies, attending sporting events, doing home improvement projects, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Becky ChronisterIn addition to her accounting responsibilities, Becky is an integral part of the loan department. She works closely with Robert to seek out and obtain competitive loans for dentists, whether they are starting up new practices or wanting to refinance existing debts.
Becky is a proud Aggie, graduating from Texas A&M in 2004 with a BA in Finance. She joined the RT Edwards & Associates, PC team shortly after graduation, and has been working hard for our clients ever since.
When she is not hard at work, Becky enjoys off-roading and 4-wheeling with her husband in their Jeeps, cooking, and exercising. She has a dog and cat for now, hopefully with children in the near future.
Barbara Story, CPAAfter many years of accounting experience, Barbara has found her niche. She thoroughly enjoys working with dental community clients and is a valuable member of our team. Along with accounting and tax responsibilities, Barbara is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and provides training and support to her clients who use QuickBooks. She also heads up the Accounts Payable department for those clients who desire full-service accounting treatment.
Barbara joined RT Edwards & Associates, PC in September of 2005. She
holds a BS in Accounting and an MS in Accounting and Information Management
from the University of Texas, Dallas.
Although not a native Texan, Barbara has lived in Carrollton for the past
30 years, where she resides with her husband and the youngest two of her
four children. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys playing games with her
children, reading, doing crafts and cooking.
Chandra YoungChandra is professional and hard working, balancing key responsibilities for our team. In addition to managing our accounts receivable duties, Chandra assists in the hiring process as we expand the RT Edwards & Associates, PC team.
Before joining us, Chandra spent seven years in private accounting, two years in public accounting and a year-and-a-half as a recruiter for an accounting personnel company. She earned a B.B.A. in 1990 from Texas Tech University.
Chandra has been married for 14 years and has two young daughters. She enjoys playing cards and board games with family and friends, watching sports, cooking and gardening. Chandra is also an admitted news junkie.
Angelica ValdiviaAngelica is thorough and detail oriented, bringing many great ideas to the table. She is always looking for ways to make positive changes both internally in our office and externally for our clients.
Prior to joining our team in 2007, Angelica worked in public accounting for five years and private accounting for two years. She holds a BBA with an emphasis in accounting from Amberton University
Angelica was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. When she's not working, Angelica enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Madison Poe, CPAMadison is able to calmly guide clients through even the most complex situations. She has four years of experience as an accountant in corporate and government entities, and spent seven years in an orthodontic office in a business/administrative capacity.
Madison holds a BBA in accounting from Howard Payne University and an MBA in Healthcare Management.
Madison was born and raised in Texas and recently moved to Dallas with her husband. When she is not working, Madison enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Stephanie MorrisStephanie is quick-witted and driven, setting goals and then working hard to achieve them. In addition to her responsibilities in our office, Stephanie is a full-time student at the University of Texas working towards a degree in Accounting and Information Management.
As a junior in high school, Stephanie worked as a night bookkeeper at a grocery store and dreamed of becoming a CPA. College followed, and she graduated with her associates' degree in Business of Accounting from Trinity Valley Community College in December 2007. She plans to graduate with her BS in Accounting and Information Management in December 2010, and with her MS in Accounting and Information Management shortly thereafter.
Stephanie lives in Kaufman. When she is not working or doing homework, Stephanie enjoys playing the flute, reading, singing karaoke, playing with her four-legged children and spending time with her family and friends.
Lauren FolseLauren was born in Baton Rouge, but grew up in the Dallas area. She returned to Baton Rouge for college graduating from Louisiana State University in December of 2008 with a degree in Accounting. She worked as a temporary employee focusing mainly on accounting for bankruptcy trusts. In her spare time Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and watching all LSU Tiger sports.
Brenda MalloryAs any of our clients could - and would - attest, Brenda is the personality of the office. She takes a genuine interest in each of our clients and ensures that the entire team stays focused on helping them overcome challenges and achieve goals.
Brenda's ideal combination of outgoing personality, marketing and communications background and corporate credit support experience make her a valuable ally for our clients. Brenda is also a great listener, and handles client questions with sincere concern and efficiency.
In her free time, Brenda enjoys outdoor activities with her family and dogs. She's been married to her high school sweetheart for 17 years, and they are the proud parents of a teenaged son.
Vicki HarrisVicki's combination of dental experience and customer service make her an excellent addition to our team. Because she understands the functions of a dental practice, Vicki can easily relate to the specific needs of our clients.
Her 25+ years of experience includes positions as dental assistant, office manager and customer service representative. Vicki combines that experience with impressive organizational skills and tenacious follow-through to keep things running smoothly for us and for our clients.
Even when she's not working, Vicki still stays busy. She's the proud mother of three daughters, and she enjoys golf and gardening. Vicki lives in a great subdivision in Little Elm where she is active in the neighborhood community.
Kristi SmithKristi’s extensive experience and upbeat attitude make her a welcome addition to the Edwards & Associates team. She is responsible for helping the entire team stay on track, meet individual goals and manage tasks more effectively.
Before her recent move to Edwards & Associates, Kristi spent more than 13 years working in an executive assistant capacity. Her organizational skills and detail-oriented approach are invaluable to the office, obviously. But her positive, outgoing personality is equally important, helping Kristi interact well with everyone – office staff, clients, vendors and business associates.
Outside the office Kristi stays very busy with her husband and three children. They live in Plano, and enjoy going to the park, swimming, reading and relaxing with regular pizza-and-movie nights. Most of all, Kristi enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
